Autism programme

At Medicare Children and Adolescents, we provide a specialized program for children with autism, aiming to support their personal, social and educational development. The program includes careful behavioral and psychological assessments to understand the needs of each individual child, and follows evidence-based methods of education and behavioral intervention.
1. *Multidisciplinary assessment*: The program begins with a comprehensive assessment that includes the developmental, behavioral, and cognitive aspects of the child, to determine individual needs.

2. *Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA)*: The program relies on ABA strategies to reinforce desired behaviors, reduce undesirable behaviors, and teach new skills in an organized manner.

3. *Parent training and counseling*: The program includes training parents on how to deal with special behaviors and promote learning and development at home.

4. *Supportive therapies*: The program includes supportive therapies such as music therapy, occupational therapy, and sensory therapy to improve motor and sensory skills.

5. *Group and individual therapy sessions*: They are used to enhance social and communication skills in an environment that simulates natural social interactions, in addition to individual sessions to focus more on special needs.

6. *Continuous support and follow-up*: The program provides periodic follow-up to evaluate progress and adjust the treatment plan according to the development of the child’s condition.

The program at the Medicare Center seeks to provide a supportive environment that enables children with autism to achieve their fullest potential, improve their quality of life, and integrate them effectively into society.
